Representatives of the international gaming industry meet up with regulators & legal experts at Gaming in Holland Conference

18 March 2016, Amsterdam, Netherlands (Press Release) – The fifth edition of the annual Gaming in Holland Conference, which will be held June 7-8, 2016 at the RAI Exhibition and Convention Center in Amsterdam, will provide a must-attend platform for discussing key topics with several key players who are working on shaping this new regulatory environment.

Starting with the upcoming parliamentary debate on the Dutch remote gaming bill in early April, the next few months promise to be decisive in shaping the Netherlands’ gaming regime for the foreseeable future. Ahead of the expected adoption of the main bill, secondary legislation is already being drawn up, while the Netherlands Gaming Authority continues to flesh out its licensing process.

Furthermore, preparations are being made for the privatization and sale of land-based Holland Casino in 2017. Last but not least, major change is coming to the lottery sector, raising fundamental questions about the funding of charities and sports in modern society.

Our interactive opening session, moderated by Daniel Macadam, Managing Editor at GamblingCompliance, will feature Marja Appelman, CEO at the Netherlands Gaming Authority, Dennis van Breemen, Program Manager at the Ministry of Security and Justice, and Justin Franssen, gaming lawyer at Kalff Katz and Franssen.

With the panelists bringing a 360-degree view to the most recent regulatory developments, they will not only provide the audience with factual updates, but will also present unique insider perspectives in an exclusive, interactive setting.

The panelists, moreover, have all expressed eagerness to hear directly from the industry. What are YOUR priorities, questions and concerns?

Other sessions will address the question of how to be successful in the Dutch market. Meet up with native players to discuss their preferences. Talk to local PR agencies, recruiters, software developers, or payment service providers. Visit our demo room to get familiar with the latest products and services available in the market. Get to know some of the established, land-based operators.

Gaming in Holland 2016 Conference promises to be the biggest and most important yet; and it is NOT to be missed by anyone who might even be remotely interested in entering or getting involved with the soon-to-be-liberalized Dutch gaming market.
