Keynote Announced for iGaming Super Show

Jones expertise in the world of lotteries provided the strategic guidance that led to the sale of lottery products over the Internet and led to Illinois becoming the first US state lottery to offer Mega Million and Lotto tickets online. The beginning of sales coincided with the largest lottery prize ever offered in the world.

In his current capacity Jones is responsible for maximizing lottery profits and overseeing the private firm and was specifically hired last year to manage Illinois’ lottery operations for the next decade. Jones brings years of experience to this critical position. Recruited from a successful career in private business, he served as superintendent of the Illinois Lottery from 1981-1985 under former Governor James Thompson, overseeing record billion-dollar increase in sales. His CV continues to read as a who’s who of the Lottery world, with consulting relationship with a list of some of the biggest lotteries in the world, including lotteries in 13 US states, the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands, Great Britain, Ukraine, British Columbia and Western Canada.
