iGaming North America Gains Support From American Gaming Association

igna_160.jpg10th December 2013, Las Vegas, USA (Press Release) – The iGaming North America Conference (March 19-21, 2014) announced today a strategic marketing partnership with the American Gaming Association (AGA) as well as confirming President and CEO Geoff Freeman to speak at the event.

Representing the interests of gaming operators and suppliers since 1995, the AGA serves as an advocate advancing the interests of the industry. Geoff Freeman is the President and CEO of the organization, which is now advocating strongly for the regulation of Internet gaming.

“The AGA is and always has been an important force in the development of gaming across the United States. If iGaming is going to develop at the pace that the players and the industry expects, the AGA is going to have to be involved in that process,” commented Michael Caselli, Editor-in-Chief of iGaming Business one of the event partners.

In addition to supporting the event the AGA President and CEO, Geoff Freeman is also confirmed to speak at the conference where he will be moderating the CEO panel where the industry’s leaders will discuss and debate iGaming in North America. Prior to joining the AGA, Freeman was chief operating officer and executive vice president for the U.S. Travel Association, the nation’s leading voice for increasing travel to and within the United States. Under his strategic leadership, the travel industry enacted the Travel Promotion Act, derailed an assault on corporate meetings and events, and began the march to building an army of one million employee activists. During his tenure, U.S. Travel doubled its resources.

Freeman has also led a variety of complex and successful issue campaigns during his more than fifteen years in Washington. Previously, Freeman was a vice president with APCO Worldwide, a global public affairs firm, where he led the highly visible Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA). The PPA, supported by America’s pharmaceutical companies, was the largest effort ever created to connect uninsured Americans with free prescription medicines.

iGaming North America will host its 4th annual conference March 19-21 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
