Genting Poker Series in Full Swing

be-160.png3 December 2012 (London, UK)- Following a hugely successful stop in Sheffield last week, the Genting Poker Tour reached London last weekend for a weeklong festival of poker that includes, as well as the tour’s inaugural Grand Final, the monthly £1000 entry Genting Poker Big Game which this month aims to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The Fox Poker Club is the venue for a full week of action, which started with the £5,000+£200 High Roller on Saturday. The Main Event, a £200,000 guaranteed NLH tournament with a £1,500 plus £100 buy-in, commences this Thursday, with two day ones and the final on Sunday, 9th December.

Tonight, on Monday 3rd December, Genting are offering a high-stakes warm up to the main, with the £1000-entry Genting Poker Big Game, which moves to the Fox from the Palm Beach Casino in Mayfair. This month half of all tournament registration fees collected at the event will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital to support child healthcare. Genting are entering into the Christmas sprit, with a bounty prize placed on the head of Gary Oakes, Head of Genting Poker. The player who eliminates Gary from the comp will receive a £1000 package to play in a leg of the Genting Poker Series in 2013, as well as a luxury Christmas hamper. Players are also encouraged to bring presents for the children at Great Ormond St.
