April 24, 2009 (Stockholm, Sweden) – Jadestone Networks, the Nordic based owner and operator of the multiplayer gaming networks DiceArena and GamArena, today announced that its combined Arena business has completed a record breaking first quarter.
With the addition of the DiceArena network and healthy growth in the GamArena network, the overall player activity has been growing steadily. The March total number of unique cash players across the combined Arena business increased year on year by 116%.
This strong upwards trend is supported by good organic player growth, but also by the fact that an increasing number of igaming operators are joining the Jadestone networks. From three partner sites in Q1 2008, the number of sites featuring Jadestone’s Arena games has tripled to nine.
“We’re very pleased indeed with the development so far,” said Tobias Nissen, Business Development Director at Jadestone. “We’re seeing strong growth overall, with good numbers across the board. The DiceArena games are picking up momentum and we’re convinced that with over 200,000 pre-registrations from bwin, the curves will continue to push in the right direction. More surprising is the strength of our more mature GamArena product. We just closed our biggest jackpot ever – a €20,000 prize pool was shared by avid Scarab Solitaire players.”
There are a number of other factors that are fuelling optimism within Jadestone Networks as it looks at the rest of 2009. In only a week after its launch, Dice Solitaire has shot up to become the second most popular GamArena game – all while adding new revenues. In the summer, Jadestone Networks will launch additional multiplayer games including a new Backgammon and the very well-known and highly popular game Liar’s Dice.
Jadestone is proceding with its strategy of creating uccessful igaming networks and gaining synergies from interconnecting their liquidity. With a combined online audience of well over 2,000 players, the company believes it will be well positioned as the leading one stop shop for non-poker multiplayer game services.
