Bluff European Rankings: Chris Brammer Takes Pole Position

bluff-europe_rankings_160x160-3.jpg7 November 2012 (London, UK)- The UK’s Christopher Brammer leapfrogs into first place in the Bluff European Rankings thanks to his final-table finish at the WSOPE Main Event. The rankings are designed to reward players who go deep consistently in big-field, high-buy-in events, with no big “point jumps” for first-place. So it’s interesting that, while many players in the top ten have first-place finishes and have earned more money than him on the European circuit this year, Brammer is the man our system identifies as being the most consistent player so far this year in manoeuvring through the most difficult fields in tournament poker. However, with the results from the EPT San Remo still to crunch and a number of big tournaments still to come this year, it’s all to play for.

November sees a packed schedule of ranked events. First, it’s down to the English Riviera for the Torbay Poker Series Festival in sunny Torquay. The Main Event is a £500+£50 NLHE freezeout with £50k guaranteed (dependant on 80 runners or more).

Next the GUKPT heads to Blackpool for a £ 500 + 50 No Limit Hold’em Main Event
And then it’s back down south for the Southern England Poker Challenge. The challenge comprises a £500+£50 freezeout main event, with a variety of side events and cash games. A number of satellite events are running online at Genting Poker, while direct buy-ins are accepted in all Genting Casinos. The first event of the challenge is a £50+£5 freezeout as a satellite to the main event on 15th November.

Staying with Genting and Leg 6 of the Genting Poker Series descends on Sheffield at the end of the month. The main event is £ 400 + 30 NLH. You can qualify at GentingPoker.com through a series of super-satellites from as little as £5. £55 super-sats run Monday, Wednesday and Sunday with 3 x £430 seats guaranteed.

Lastly, it’s back to the GUKPT for the big one, as the Grand Final rocks up to the Vic. This is a £2,500 + 125 NLH Main Event which runs from Friday, 30 November to Sunday, 2 December. You can qualify on G Casino Poker by playing feeders and satellites into a weekly four-seat guaranteed super satellite.
