24 September 2014 – Las Vegas, Nevada (Press Release) – Las Vegas-based Metric Gaming LLC, a leading provider of sports wagering software and services, today announced that Louis Castle has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors, replacing Peter Bertilsson who will be taking over as the company’s President & CEO.

Mr. Castle joins Metric’s Board of Directors after having served as Shuffle Master’s Chief Strategy Officer since October 2011, following his tenure as a member of Shuffle Master’s Board for six years. Mr. Castle has also previously served as Vice President of Studios at Zynga Inc., Chief Executive Officer of InstantAction, Inc., Vice President of Creative Development at the Los Angeles studio of Electronic Arts, Inc., and co-founder of Westwood Studios, an entertainment software company that was subsequently acquired by Electronic Arts.
