iGaming 4 Business Conference Confirms Steve Bodmer, Deputy General Counsel for the Pechanga Tribal Government, as Speaker

24 May 2013 (London, UK): Steve Bodmer, Deputy General Counsel for the Pechanga Tribal Government will be speaking at the iGaming 4 Business Conference, part of the iGaming Super Show, which is being held in Amsterdam on the 11th – 14th June 2013.

Bodmer is speaking on a panel titled “Tribal Gaming USA/ Canada”. Tribal gaming in North America has been the most significant factor in the growth of gaming over the past 20 years. With Canadian Tribal iGaming having been launched in 2012 and the US Tribal interests getting prepared for iGaming in 2013, you can’t miss this opportunity to find out how tribal gaming will influence the development of online gambling in North America.

“Tribe’s have been at the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder for so many centuries, the injustices that have been done to tribes are unthinkable. Indian gaming is the first opportunity for progress for hundreds of destitute tribes. This is not an issue of EBITDA and bottom lines, for tribes entering the igaming market, it is about preservation of their economies and governmental programs offered as a result of successful Indian gaming,” said Bodmer.

Bodmer hope that delegates attending the session will leave with a greater understanding of the impact iGaming could have, both positive and negative, on US tribal economies and therefore the importance tribes have placed on getting this issue correct.

“We are very pleased that Steve Bodmer from the Pechanga Tribal Government will be speaking at the iGaming 4 Business Conference,” said Alex Pratt, Head of iGaming Business.” Bodmer adds a new perspective to the already diverse conference.”

Steve Bodmer will be speaking at the iGaming 4 Business Conference, which is part of the iGaming Super Show. The iGaming Super Show is taking place at the RAI in Amsterdam on the 11th – 14th June 2013 and is free to attend for anyone in the online gambling industry.

Delegates attending will benefit from access to seven events co-located within the same venue. This includes access to a dedicated sports betting, mobile and social gambling and affiliate conference. For more information about the iGaming Super Show, please visit www.iGamingSuperShow.com.
